City Beach Park in Oak Harbor, WA 

If its the outdoors you enjoy, City Beach Park is a great place to spend the day. There is a lagoon (complete with a slide and dock) in the center of the park for swimming. It is surrounded by sand for soaking up some sun or to build a sand castle. During the summer months paddle boats and kayaks are available for rent. For the little ones there are two kid pools. BBQ grills, and picnic tables are provided through out the park, including 4 kitchen buildings perfect for family reunions or company picnics. The kids will love the extra large playground that has plenty of things to climb, explore, and swing on. A paved path makes its way through and around the park, perfect for bike riding, jogging, walking, or rollerblading. There are two basketball courts and Of Course plenty of room to fly a kite, play a game of softball or soccer. A beach lines the park, so bring your bucket to collect shells. City Beach is where Oak Harbor throws an "Old fashion" 4th of July celebration. Music, food, fun, and fireworks!!!
